About this Site

CrossFeed Religious News has been called the digg.com of religious news. This is only partly true. Here at CrossFeed, you can submit links to religious news stories around the web, much like digg.com, but we offer much more. At CrossFeed, you can post original stories if you find news happening before it's reported elsewhere. You can post movie reviews, set up your own blog, and more. In essence, all of our readers are also correspondents. We also offer a weekly podcast available in audio and video (a "v'odcast") similar to DiggNation , but featuring two LCMS pastors, one in Iowa and one near Boston . CrossFeed Religious News covers all religions worldwide, and anyone is welcome to post stories, links, comments, etc., regardless of background or beliefs, so long as the posts remain "family-friendly". The podcasts are also available to all, although the hosts come from an unashamedly confessional Lutheran bias.

About this Site

Dale! So this is what you've been doing the last few years. Looks interesting. I'm still looking for the non-Christian content (outside of the few links in the "multiple religions" section that aren't about either multiple denominations of Christianity, or Christians and ), but I suspect that not many non-Christians are lining up to volunteer content. The site does a pretty good job of presenting your perspective as Lutherans, though, which is a pretty good thing by itself, given how little I've seen or heard Lutheran voices in all the self-proclaimed Christian voices I've run into online. Just finished listening to podcast 164, and was surprised to find that your voice doesn't sound any different than it did back in Madison. Good to know you're still able to talk up a storm, after all this time. Will be looking forward to your next podcast.

The user-submitted content

The user-submitted content model has pretty much failed, so the site is now robot-driven. I really need to update that site description, since I've been in Ohio for almost a year, and it still says, "Iowa." But it really needs to be rewritten from the ground up, not to mention fixing our filters to filter out stuff like "Charlotte Church" or "Christian Slater."
